Have you been stressed out lately? Felt like disregarding your everyday routine and lose interest with exercising and eating healthy. Though, you still want to make yourself healthy but lacking motivation.

Being healthy is choice with combination of will power and urge to make the changes. According to Penny Kris-Etherton, PhD, a nutrition professor at Penn State University said, “People need to be realistic about the changes they can achieve.” Instead of doing rigorous workouts that eats up most of your energy, why not change your habit with a less, minor, and doable changes.

Choosing to be healthy should not be a burden to one’s self but should be the motivation for something far more great. Here are motivational tips to get you going and start living a healthy lifestyle:


Choose the right people to be around to and make yourself happy

Choosing a positive outlook will result to a happier, less stressful life. Do not let others’ judgment ruin your good mood but instead take it, analyze it, and do appropriate actions to better yourself.

Who are the right people to be around with? Well this one is actually up to you, the right people should be the ones who motivates you and gives you passion to get going. Like, idolizing a famous artist with a healthy perspective in life. Why not engage yourself with the things they are doing which could end up being fun and creative.

Make simple changes but do not overdo it

Like what they always say, ‘take baby steps’. Don’t suddenly engage yourself on strenuous activities that promises you this and that and then having your body be depleted and not be able to move around. Why not start with a little walking. A walk in the park perhaps. It’s like enjoying the scenery while exercising. Why not try it with a companion, let say a friend or an animal. Doing activities with someone you cherish will make it more worthwhile.

If you’re not into outdoor activities, why not exert effort on watching videos or tutorials on the best exercises to keep your body healthy. While exercising, let yourself be at peace with some positive uplifting songs to get you going. Also, change your old habits of letting technologies do the work for you, like changing the channel instead of using the remote why not do it manually and give your body a bit of stretching.

Be adventurous and minimize staying still

A friend of mine recently started doing mountain activities like hiking. The experience was self-rewarding. Even though this activity is the opposite of the second tip, a little rebellion won’t hurt anybody. Nature walks are a good way to keep yourself moving. The sceneries will be your motivation and top will be your goal.

But before doing all those changes why not have a visit at the nearest medical center Philippines and have yourself checked regularly to be sure that the changes to be done are good ones and will actually help you live better.
